My life has been taken-over....

At just 3 months old, Monty has become an unruly youth. His energy is boundless, his naughtiness unstoppable, and his appetite unbelieveable.

So, it's 5 or 6 walks a day, a strict check on his diet, and constant surveillance; otherwise he would be a nightmare. But at least he's 'house-trained', and sleeps through the night without disturbing us.

Of course he's also an absolute delight, and we now wonder what on earth we ever did without him.

This isn't actually Monty, but if we had a dishwasher no doubt he'd be doing this as well!

  3. Our lab pups stayed in the "puppy stage" for about two years. They were the sweetest things ever, but chewed and pounced relentlessly. Ours wouldn't leave the dishwasher alone, either.

  5. Monty is beautiful! We don't havea dog but we do have three cats - they love getting in the dishwasher and licking the plates. Don't tell my mother!!

I have just found your blog and really enjoy it! I too live in France but across the other side. I hope you might visit my two blogs - not as amusing as yours though!

  6. I would love a dog, but with 5 cats it would not go well.
I fully understand when you say you wonder how on earth you got on without him. Pets fill your life with so much love and fun, I never get fed up with just looking at our rabble, they give me pleasure every single day.
    Enjoy

  7. Ahhh. I wonder why my dishwasher was playing up. There's a bloomin' dog in it.

He's adorable. Isn't he supposed to have reams of toilet paper trailing behind him?
